MITCHELL, S.D. (Feb. 5, 2024) – Agtegra Cooperative is excited to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Aurora Cooperative Elevator Company (“Aurora Cooperative”), a Nebraska cooperative, to acquire its two South Dakota agronomy locations at Mitchell and Tyndall. The transaction is expected to close at the end of the month.

Agtegra is looking forward to welcoming the Aurora employees at these locations to the Agtegra team and continuing to provide outstanding products and services to cooperative member-owners and farmers in the area. In the coming weeks, Agtegra and Aurora will be working to seamlessly transition these two locations from one cooperative to the other.

“We are excited to expand our industry-leading agronomy products, services, and programs in the Mitchell and Tyndall communities. The addition of these two locations will allow us to serve our current customers more efficiently and expand into new markets that complement our current footprint and offerings,” said Daryl Molskness, SVP Agronomy.

“Aurora Cooperative is a strong, locally owned cooperative who has serviced this area for many years and we at Agtegra are excited to work with Aurora on this opportunity,” said Jason Klootwyk, Agtegra Cooperative CEO. “We appreciate Aurora Cooperative keeping these assets in the cooperative system and thank them for their collaboration.”

The acquisition includes the Mitchell agronomy facility located at 25258 413th Ave, Mitchell, South Dakota and the Tyndall agronomy facility located at 407 SD Highway 50, Tyndall, South Dakota.
