Agtegra Announces New VP of Marketing & Communications

Agtegra Cooperative is pleased to announce and welcome Melissa Dykema as its new VP of Marketing and Communications, effective June 10, 2024. Melissa will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision across the organization as it pertains to marketing and communications efforts, programs and processes that build Agtegra’s brand position and in close partnership with employees, customers and suppliers in the communities it serves. She will oversee all aspects of marketing and communications, including brand management, media relations and social, digital, grower and industry communications.
 
Melissa is a customer-centric, strategic marketing thought leader with over 30 years of experience. She joins Agtegra from Cargill, where she held roles in marketing, innovation, sales enablement, finance and information technology. She is a people-first leader with a history of building high performance teams and has a passion for customers and employees and pursuing innovative ways to compete in the marketplace.
 
Melissa grew up on a farm south of Ipswich and graduated from Ipswich High School. She attended Minnesota State University – Moorhead and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
accounting. Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and stays active boating, snowmobiling, hiking and traveling to tropical beach locations as well as the Arizona desert. She is very excited to join the Agtegra team where she can give back to the community in which she was raised.

He started his career in grain and logistics and has held several leadership positions within the industry, most recently as Northeast Region Manager.

Chad Boekelheide raises corn and soybeans alongside his parents, Jim and Donna, his brother, Scott, and son, Derek, in the Northville and Mellette area. Chad made his way back to the farm after earning a finance degree from Northern State University in 1995. Chad and his wife, Kris, are proud parents to their four children—Derek, Hailey, Jessica, and Ella.
